Congratulations to our 2022 Scholarship Recipients!
Each year Epilepsy Reach awards students living with epilepsy an educational scholarship in an effort to offset costs associated with higher education. We would like to congratulate our 2022 scholarship recipients and wish them well in their future endeavors.
Landon Mohr
University of Kentucky
I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 15 years old during my freshman year of high school. I am the cofounder of a nonprofit that helps raise awareness and money for those living and affected by epilepsy and will be studying Clinical Health Management at the University of Kentucky. I plan to attend grad school and hope to someday be in Hospital Administration and maybe oversee the Neurology Department.
Lawrence Marsh
North Carolina A&T
Hello, my name is Lawrence Marsh, but I prefer to be called Elijah. I am eighteen years old, and I was born in Winston-Salem, yet brought up in Greensboro. I graduated from James B. Dudley Highschool this past June, and I’m currently attending North Carolina A&T with the hopes of pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering with the goal of one day being a city planner.

Gardner Webb University
Hi, my name is Cecilee Silver, I am attending Gardner Webb this fall to play golf and get a nursing degree! I have had epilepsy for about 6 years and haven’t had a seizure in about 4 of those years!! Woohoo! Big thank you to Dr. Armstrong for helping me achieve my goals of keeping my condition under control for so long!

Epilepsy has been a part of my story for the past four years. Despite my struggles with my diagnosis, I have learned so many valuable truths about life, faith, family and friendships that I may not have learned otherwise. I am excited to start my education at Louisiana Tech University this fall where I plan to study electrical engineering.
